Heading to Uganda

We are very excited to be heading to Uganda with the Mission Aviation Fellowship to serve as a pilot family!  Matt will be flying over 1400 mission and humanitarian organizations and helping reach some of the most the isolated people on the planet with food, medical supplies and the knowledge that there is someone Greater out there to love and care for them.

About Uganda:

Although referred to as the Pearl of Africa, Uganda is subject to armed fighting among rebels, armed gangs, militias, and various government forces that extend across its borders from neighbouring countries; Uganda hosts 209,860 Sudanese, 27,560 Congolese, and 19,710 Rwandan refugees.

In Uganda, MAF not only delivers relief, aid workers, food and medicine to the refugees and other needy people, they provide missionaries with cost effective and reliable transport within the country and to Kenya, the Congo and Southern Sudan - the world’s newest and poorest country.
“In Uganda, 35% of the population lives in poverty.”

“There are fewer than 1.5 health care workers for every 1,000 Ugandans.”

Please consider partnering with us, as we are looking for monthly and one time support, and multiply the effectiveness of the more than 1400 organizations MAF partners with to get people, supplies and and the love of God to where it needs to be.
